This is another double week entry, but with only one set of photos. First there's the 4th of July, then there's last weekend's update. The plants have LOVED the heat of the last few days and life is good.

Jona and I spent all of the 4th of July in the garden and it was fantastic! We accomplished a lot, which is good because the garden desperately needed it. A hail storm hit that weekend and blasted through the rhubarb and knocked over some onions, though it didn't do much damage beyond that.

- jo weeded a ton
- tried red pepper flakes to keep pests from digging in our pots. kinda worked maybe? gotta try again
- pulled spinach mustard (flavorless and bolted)
- ate some beet leaves and onions! yum yum yum
- fertilized everything with worm poop from erica's bin
- poured in lots of l-o-v-e
